Fifth Grade Biz Town 12/2

Biztown is on December 2nd and the 5th graders have been working very hard to prepare for this fun, real-life simulation at Junior Achievement!  They have learned how to write checks, create a resume, complete a job application, and will continue to work hard in class. All 5th graders went through a round of one-on-one interviews on Nov. 16 for the job they have applied for; many dressed the part and were very prepared! Thank you to the 8 parent volunteers who helped make this day a fun, yet educational experience!

Fifth Grade Video Volunteer Needed!

We are seeking a special volunteer or small group of individuals to create a video (photo montage to music) to be played at the 5th Grade Graduation in May.  Photos will be submitted by parents. We wanted to get the ball rolling on this so that it can be worked on over the course of the school year rather than a mad dash at the end.  If you are interested, please reach out to Emily Winters (eriskwinters@gmail.com) or Erika Frantz (erika.frantz@att.net).

Want to pretend to be a pirate and discover a long lost treasure?  The lost and found needs you!  It is full of hats, gloves, coats, jackets, etc. with no names on them.  Please remind your children to check the lost and found and if you're ever in the building volunteering, you can sneak a peek too!  You never know what lost treasures you may find.  And please add names to everything that comes to school so it does not become treasure once your pirate loses it.  Thank you so much!!!

Woodbrook Spirit Wear

Thank you to everyone who placed a spirit wear order online.  The orders will come home with your students prior to winter break (unless you have reached out to request other plans for pickup/dropoff).  Please note, we cannot accomodate any returns or exchanges as these are all custom made. Thank you!
