Happy February WBE Families!

We're excited to celebrate with you this month at The Mane Bash and on President's Day at our annual family skating party at Fuel Tank! In the meantime, we hope you'll join us for our next general PTO meeting on Zoom on Tuesday, February 7th at 7:00 pm. At this meeting we'll go over plans for the rest of the year and easy, low-commitment ways to get involved with us next year.  A link to the Zoom call will come out closer to the date.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

We are so excited to be hosting author Stacy McAnulty on Monday, February 27th! Huge thanks to the PTO and Mrs. Vahle for providing this experience. Mrs. McAnulty will be presenting to all grade levels throughout the day to share about the writing process and her life as an author. She has written numerous picture books, intermediate chapter books and middle grade novels. During Media classes, students will learn about Mrs. McAnulty and her books leading up to her visit. Mark Your Calendars: The Woodbrook Spring Party will be held this year on Mar 24th from 1:00-2:15 pm and will include games and crafting cards for loved ones and the community.  Each classroom will have approximately 2 or 3 volunteers in addition to the Room Parents.  Look for a sign-up on February 24th!

Please be on the lookout for emails with details of upcoming 5th Grade specific events!!!

Now that winter is in full force, the lost and found is full of hats, gloves, coats, jackets, etc. with no names on them.  Please remind your children to check the lost and found on their way to and from the cafeteria or the grade level one in their pod. Also, please add names to everything that comes to school so it can easily be returned to your student.  Thank you so much!!!
