Hello WBE families and happy May!

We’ve so enjoyed serving as your PTO Co-Presidents this year and look forward to closing out the year on a high note. Read on for all the exciting things happening this month, including family bingo night, teacher appreciation, the spring book fair and the long-awaited return of the talent show! We hope to see you at one or all of these events. 

You’ll also find information on open volunteer positions, including the estimated time commitment of each. We hope you’ll consider joining us in planning for another great school year next year! As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if we can be of assistance.

2022-23 PTO Co-Presidents

The PTO needs your help next year!  Please review the attached document for potential available positions and sign up for anything that interests you.  There are many jobs that can be done solely from home even...some with small time commitments and some a bit larger.  Even if you are a parent/guardian who has been at Woodbrook for 10 years or one who is brand new, there is a job for you!

PTO Volunteer Position Form 2023-2024

Please help us shower all of the wonderful Woodbrook Teachers by helping your students with the following:

Tuesday, May 9 is bouquet day! Please have your student bring in a single stem flower for their teachers they have that day and PTO will help assemble a beautiful bouquet.

Thursday, May 11 is favorite things day! We are encouraging families to bring in something from their teachers' favorite things list (see link below) and/or a note of gratitude. 

PTO has lots planned but the teachers always love when the students are involved. Thank you for your support!

We are excited to be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair this spring.  Students will be able to shop during their Media Center specials time from Friday, May 5th - Thursday, May 11th. In addition, we will host a Family Night for this fair!  Families are invited to join us at the Book Fair on Tuesday, May 9th, between 3:00pm-7:00pm. 5th Grade Party - Thursday, May 18, 5 - 7pm at Northview Student Center          

 
5th Grade Graduation and Luncheon - Wednesday, 5/24, 12pm

Auditions for the talent show were held at the end of April.  Congratulations to all the students who tried out and put such hard work into their auditions.  The talent show will be held on the last day of school and parents of students performing are invited to attend.
